ABOUT US
Acorn Farm was created in 1985 on 4 hectares of derelict land, which had once been a tip for builder’s rubble, with a rabbit and two gerbils. It has since grown into an award winning visitor attraction which is home to a wide range of farm animals and employs 20 full and part time staff.
The project has strong roots in the local community and we believe that everyone has a valued social role to play within their community. Therefore at Acorn Farm we are proud to have individuals of different ages and abilities working together as a team in all aspects of running the farm.
